PR & Media Outreach Specialist

We’re looking for a charismatic and relentless connector who can secure high-impact media opportunities (podcasts, articles, TV, events) for our Direct Primary Care (DPC) product.

The Job

You’ll be the driving force behind getting our product featured in the media—identifying opportunities, building relationships, and turning cold leads into booked interviews, positioning our health product as the smart alternative to traditional healthcare.

Your tasks will be among:

  • Hunt & Pitch: Find and secure media placements through relentless outreach (emails, DMs, creative follow-ups).
  • Convert Leads: Persuade producers, journalists, and podcast hosts why our product (and spokesperson) deserves a feature.
  • Build Relationships: Turn one-off opportunities into recurring coverage by nurturing media connections.
  • Master Media Logistics: Handle scheduling, bios, headshots, and gatekeeper quirks to make interviews seamless.
  • Network: Go beyond emails—engage on social media, events, and clever outreach tactics to open doors.

Skills

We need someone who is:

  • Strong pitching skills – Ability to craft compelling messages that secure media opportunities.
  • Persistent and results-driven – Proactive in outreach, follow-ups, and overcoming objections.
  • Media-savvy – Understands what journalists, producers, and podcast hosts look for in a guest.
  • Quick learner – Able to adapt to different media formats and tailor approaches accordingly.
  • Highly organized – Manages multiple leads, schedules, and follow-ups efficiently

Position

This is a full-time remote position. We’re used to working as a dispersed team so you must be cool with collaborating online and a lot over text. We’re flexible on schedules, but at least 4 hours of overlap with a core of your team is mandatory.
